The unglamorous goal
Before anyone gets funded to build, there's a simpler question: what does it cost just to keep the lights on? This goal answers it, publicly, with an itemized budget — so the community can see exactly where every dollar of overhead goes.
If you've been wanting to support this effort but a larger commitment isn't in reach, this is the easiest place to start. Every contribution here directly extends the project's runway.

Why AI credits are the biggest line
This project ships at the pace of a much larger team because AI-assisted development is core to how we work. The platform you're using was built by one developer in weeks, not months — that velocity runs on AI credits the way a factory runs on electricity. Funding this line item is funding speed.
Why roll over instead of paying out?
Infrastructure costs are lumpy — domain renewals land once a year, and a heavy development month spikes AI usage. Contributions beyond the monthly target aren't paid out to anyone; they accumulate as an operations reserve that absorbs those spikes and keeps the project running through slow months. Over-contributing here literally buys the project runway.
How you're protected
- Itemized and updated monthly. The table above gets refreshed in this thread with actual spend.
- Settled on-chain. Every settlement is publicly verifiable on Base.
- Monthly, not lump sum. If the community ever isn't satisfied with how funds are handled, contributions simply stop.
What this goal is not
This goal doesn't pay anyone. Contributor funding runs through separate goals under the Core Development subproject, each with its own target, deliverables, and accountability. Keeping the two apart means overhead never quietly eats contributor funding — and vice versa.
